Ingredients
-
4 flounder fillets (or your favorite white fish!) (about 6 oz each)
-
1 tbsp Spice Madness Citrus Ginger Rub
-
1/2 tsp Spice Madness Kosher Salt (adjust to taste)
-
1/4 tsp Spice Madness Black pepper
-
2 tbsp unsalted butter (or olive oil for a lighter option)
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tbsp lemon juice
-
1 tsp honey (optional, for balance)
-
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
-
Lemon wedges, for serving
Directions
Prep the Fish: Pat the flounder fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides with Spice Madness Citrus Ginger Rub, salt, and black pepper.
Heat the Pan & Prepare the Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter (or heat oil). Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Cook the Flounder: Add the seasoned flounder fillets to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Finish with Citrus: Drizzle lemon juice over the fillets and add a touch of honey if using. Let it cook for another 30 seconds.
Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
