Directions
Apple Prep: Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper. Remove the apple stems and firmly push a stick into the core of each apple.
Caramel Melt: Place your caramels and milk/cream in a medium, microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until the caramel is completely smooth and drippy (about 2–3 minutes total).
The Dip: Hold an apple by the stick and dip it straight into the warm caramel. Tilt and rotate the bowl to coat the apple completely. Lift it out and let the excess caramel drip back into the bowl.
The Decoration (The Best Part!): Immediately hand the caramel-coated apple to your little helper. Roll, sprinkle, and press the Sweet Madness toppings onto the warm, sticky caramel. Let the kids get creative!
Set & Serve: Place the finished apples on your prepared baking sheet. Pop them in the fridge for about 30 minutes to let the caramel and toppings set up firmly.
